26 September: International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons.
UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, recently warned: “Humanity now confronts a new arms race. Nuclear weapons are being used as tools of coercion. Weapons systems are being upgraded, and placed at the centre of national security strategies, making these devices of death faster, more accurate and stealthier. All this, at a moment when division and mistrust are pulling countries and regions apart.”

That the Lord will fill us with fresh energy and hope so that we can continue our work advancing the Kingdom of God, in Jesus’ name.
That we will find the words to change hearts and minds.
That our government will heed the call of Christians, alongside many other voices, and commit wholeheartedly to the work of nuclear disarmament.
