Nominations are now open for the Christian CND Executive Committee! If you are a Christian CND member who is interested in becoming more involved in the organisation, why not put yourself forward for election to the Committee.
The Executive is responsible for setting the direction of the organisation and ensuring that we are always focused on the key objectives set out in our constitution. They Committee also provides oversight for staff and works to build links with other organisations, both Christian and secular.
This is a particularly important time for Christian CND as we consider what our future organisation status looks like – so if getting involved is something you’ve thought about in the past there really never has been a more pivotal time to do so.
We welcome people from all background and denominations onto the Executive. We currently have five denominations represented. Whatever your knowledge, availability, skillset or experience there is a role for everyone.
The Executive currently meets monthly on a Monday evening – and conducts business via email. For this reason access to Zoom and an email account is essential.
Nominations are open to any Christian CND member who joined before 1 December 2022. The deadline for submitting a nomination is Friday 11 August 2023. The nomination form is available here.
