Throughout Advent we are giving opportunities for supporters to get involved in our work for peace. As well as prayer, we believe that as Christians we are called to work for a more peaceful world. We’ll be giving a suggested action every week – which we’ll post on our Twitter and Facebook page but also update here.
Week one is to book a workshop for your church, small group, chaplaincy, youth group, or any other Christian group! It’s a chance to explore nuclear disarmament from a Christian perspective and radically reimagine the Kingdom of God. Smiley staff member included.

Our second action is to use our youth resource! Peace Be With You helps young people to be peacemakers. The resource looks at different aspects of God’s peace and explores what that means in our everyday lives. The activities are rooted in scripture with real-world applications, and are suitable for all ages. Youth and children’s workers and volunteers can request a free copy
For our third week of Advent Actions we’re directing you towards our joint campaign with the Fellowship of Reconciliation regarding the victims of the UK’s nuclear tests. Find out more about this campaign and sign our petition at for.eaction.org.uk/PacificIslanders
Our fourth and final week of Advent Actions – different ways that you can get involved with our work. So our final action is to join Christian CND!
