Christian CND attended Big Church Our Day over the Bank Holiday weekend, talking to hundreds of Christians about the need for a world free of nuclear weapons and the part we can play in bringing it about.
Big Church Day Out is the largest church gathering in the UK, bringing together Christians from all denominations and backgrounds for two days of worship and celebration.
The Christian CND stand featured a picture wall where people posed alongside thousands of others opposing nuclear weapons, and a chance to share a message of peace on the blackboard wall. Something many took the opportunity to do.
It was great to have the chance to have many conversations and raise awareness of the current issues around nuclear weapons, from the UN Ban Treaty to the replacement of Trident to the ongoing tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
