Christian CND Peace Pilgrimage 2025

The pilgrimage will run from Thursday 29th May to Monday 2nd June inclusive.

Christian CND is delighted to announce our Spring 2025 Pilgrimage, a unique opportunity to journey through faith, activism, and community. This pilgrimage will take us from Sheffield to Hope, weaving through the breathtaking Peak District and stopping at key places of reflection and prayer along the way.

This is more than just a walk – it’s a time to pray for peace, build friendships, and reflect on God’s calling in your life. We invite you to join us as we take these meaningful steps together.

Why Join the Pilgrimage?

As Christians, we are called to go out: “Get thee up into the high mountain” (Isaiah 40:9).
As activists, we know the importance of taking concrete actions towards the world we envision.
As Christian anti-nuclear activists, we have the unique power of prayer to sustain us when the road is long and success seems distant.

Pilgrimage brings together faith, activism, and community. It’s a time to strengthen bonds, experience the beauty of Creation, and reflect on God’s calling. Every step becomes a prayer, a witness, and a step towards the peaceful world we dream of.

In 2023, we walked from Barrow to Grange-over-Sands, spreading awareness, meeting peace groups, and building friendships. In 2025, we invite you to join us for this new journey of prayer and reflection in the Peak District.
