Lord God, in the darker days of January, we thank you for sending your Son Jesus to be a light for the nations. We thank you for the hope and joy you give us through Him.
Lord, in the year ahead, may we reach others with the good news of your Kingdom. Help us to share a message of peace and a vision of the beauty of the earth You have created, in which nuclear weapons have no place.
We ask you Lord that our work towards nuclear disarmament may inspire Christian people everywhere to join our community and play their part.
