Christian CND is very excited to announce that we are planning a Peace Pilgrimage later this year. This will be a chance to come together with like-minded people for a time of walking, fellowship, enjoying the beauty of God’s creation and lots of opportunities for prayer.
We will be holding the pilgrimage over the weekend of 15-18 September, hoping that the weather will be cooler but still pleasant for walking. We’ll be starting in Barrow-in Furness, near the BAE Systems site building the next generation of UK nuclear-armed submarines. We’ll then walk through the surround countryside to finish at Grange-Over-Sands.
Plans are still in an early stage, but we hope to be able to join local churches on the route for prayers and fellowship. We’ll be looking into accommodation and support for those with less mobility to join us.
