Members of Christian CND often have a sense of being called by God to work for nuclear disarmament and peace. We strive to reach more Christians, to fish more people out of a sea of not-knowing or not-hoping, so that we can share the message of possibility and hope with them. Together we can all help advance the Kingdom of God, and free the world from nuclear weapons.
Pray with us
We thank you Lord for your son Jesus, who tells us not to be afraid when the task seems impossible. Release us from our fears so that we can serve you more fully.
Lord, when nuclear weapons seem so accepted by the world, help us to trust that you can work miracles. Revive our spirits and renew our strength to persevere with the labour you call us to.
Lord God, in this year of the 80th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, may we find partners in other boats coming to help us raise our voices against nuclear weapons in your name.
