During October, Christian CND members will meet at our AGM and Conference in Cardiff. We continue to work together to ‘bother’ leaders, asking for a justice which will free us from the threat of nuclear destruction. We continue to encourage more Christians to ‘pray and not give up’ alongside us.
Pray with us
That church leaders will speak of the shameful issue of British nuclear weapons in churches, and with decision-makers at every level.
We give thanks for the faith of those who, for decades, have ‘cried out day and night’ for the elimination of nuclear weapons. May their efforts encourage us to persevere when our plea seems to be refused.
We ask you Lord to lead us into encounters with others and give us the words we need to change hearts and minds at last. Then may nuclear weapons be dismantled and the threat of such terrible destruction be removed from the earth, for your glory.
