At Christmas we celebrate the coming of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Born in a stable and now seated in heaven at the Father’s right hand. The message of Christmas causes us to focus again on our work for peace.
The past year has seen progress made as we continue to work and pray for a nuclear-weapons free world despite the difficult circumstance. The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons has now had its 50th ratification and will enter into force in January 2021. Check out our events page to see how we are celebrating. Christian CND has been busy during the past 12 months. You can read what else we have been doing in our Annual Report.
In 2021 there will be much more to do. Christian CND will be marking our 60th anniversary with a series of events planned which were originally planned for 2020 but postponed due to Covid. We hope this will include a public meeting tour which will include an exhibition of our history and looking forward to what we can do as Christians to bring about peace now.
