Support us

Christian CND is a national movement of Christians working and praying for a world free of nuclear weapons. There are a number of ways you can support our work and make a difference.

Prayer. Everything Christian CND does is underpinned by prayer. We believe that God moves in powerful ways. You can find our monthly Prayer Diary online and download a PDF copy to print.

Become a member. Join the national movement of Christians standing together against nuclear weapons and for a world of peace. You can find more information about becoming a member here.

Make a regular donation. Your regular donation will mean we can plan financially for the future. You can find more information about making a regular donation. You might alternatively prefer to choose your own amount with a Standing Order Form.

Leave a legacy. By leaving CCND a legacy you will help in future campaigning against nuclear weapons. For more information contact the Christian CND office.

Social media. Keep up to date with the latest from Christian CND on Twitter and Facebook.

Get involved. There are a range of ways you can get involved with the work of Christian CND. We regularly attend events around the country where you could act as a Christian CND volunteer, or perhaps you would be willing to visit local churches and talk about Christian CND and the need for a nuclear weapons-free world. Contact the office if you are interested.

Raise awareness. Issues around nuclear weapons are as high on the public agenda now as they have been for decades. Unfortunately many Christians are unaware that the UK has nuclear weapons, or that 122 nations at the UN have agreed a Treaty to ban them. You can play your part by speaking to those in your church and other settings about the issues.

Write to the press. Letters to your local paper are a good way of getting the nuclear weapons issue in the public forum. You could try linking local issues – perhaps there’s a hospital lacking resources or a community centre in danger of being closed due to lack of finances.

Write to your MP. While Trident replacement may have been voted on in Parliament, there are still many issues to write to your MP about, including the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. You can find more information on our resources page and please forward any responses to the Christian CND office.
